Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end, and managing the database, APIs, and other backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of back-end programming, databases, and cloud-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications and logic for web and mobile applications.
- Design and implement APIs to support front-end functionality and third-party integrations.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and standards.
- Ensure the security of applications by implementing data protection, encryption, and user authentication/authorization systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems and applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
- Manage and configure database systems, ensuring data integrity and performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a strong understanding of server-side programming and architecture.
- Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, or PHP.
- Strong experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Experience with building and maintaining RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in backend development.
