Job Overview:
As a Coding Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching programming languages and concepts to students of varying skill levels. You will create an engaging and supportive learning environment that promotes student growth and confidence in coding. This role involves working closely with individuals or small groups, offering both in-person and online classes, depending on the program.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach Programming Languages:
- Deliver lessons in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Java, C++, etc.
- Explain coding concepts including algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and more.
- Develop Curriculum
- Engage Students
- Evaluate Student Performance
- Support Projects and Problem-Solving
- Stay Updated.
- Maintain Class Environment
- Collaborate with Teams
- Promote STEM Education
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Programming Languages: Experience in one or more languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Swift, HTML/CSS, etc.
- Experience in Teaching or Tutoring: Prior experience teaching coding (in-person or online) is preferred.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex coding concepts in simple terms.
- Adaptability: Able to adjust teaching techniques to different student needs and learning styles.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to help students troubleshoot and debug their code.
- Patience and Enthusiasm: Motivated to help students learn and grow, providing guidance and encouragement along the way.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
- Certifications in specific programming languages or teaching certifications.
- Experience working with children or adults in an educational environment.
