Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled QA/Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, create test plans, and ensure that all releases are bug-free and meet user expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, performance issues, and usability flaws.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to clarify requirements and ensure quality at every stage of the development lifecycle.
- Document and report defects, errors, and inconsistencies clearly and concisely in bug tracking systems.
- Conduct regression testing and verify bug fixes in a timely manner.
- Perform performance, security, and load testing as required.
- Ensure compliance with established standards and guidelines in all testing processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience in manual and automated testing.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and bug tracking systems.
- Experience in using automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Appium) is preferred.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or others is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments.
- Knowledge of mobile app testing (iOS/Android) and cross-browser testing.
- Familiarity with performance and security testing.
- Experience in API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
